The MCM10K includes 10,000 participants who will run 6.2 miles across the 14th Street Bridge, into Crystal City and Arlington to finish at the Marine Corps War Memorial.

Participants will embark on the 26.2-mile journey in the 37th MCM starting at 8:00 a.m. The MCM promises a spectacular start with international flags from 54 different nations, the supersonic flyover of F/A-18 Hornet attack fighter jets and CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopters, and the firing of the M2A1 Howitzer.

Runners will need to retrieve their race materials at Packet Pick-up, part of the MCM Health and Fitness Expo by GE. To pick up their items, runners need to download and print their E-Confirmation Card in early September. A photo ID is also required.
If someone other than the runner is authorized to pick up their race materials, please ensure this person has a completed Packet Release Form signed by both parties. Additionally, the authorized person must bring this confirmation email and their own photo ID. Race materials will only be released when these procedures are properly followed.
Fundraising Minimum:
Each Team for Life member participating in the Marine Corps 10k and Marathon is responsible for raising a minimum of $950 by Friday, October 19, 2012 at 5pm PST ($950 includes the race registration fee). Each participant will be race registered and receive a technical race day t-shirt, as well as any race weekend celebrations in exchange for raising the $950 minimum.
Membership Fee:
$50 for Team for Life membership (will be credited to your fundraising web page as your 1st donation)
Fundraising Program:
When you race as a Team for Life member you raise funds to help end stage cancer patients get a second chance at life through clinical trials. 87% of donations go directly to our program services. We reimburse patients directly for expenses incurred with participating in a clinical trial. Team for Life offers great incentives, provides simple fundraising tools (including a personalized website like this one: lazarex.kintera.org) and your own fundraising mentor to assure your success.
Fundraising Policy:
If the $950 fundraising minimum is not met by 5pm PST on Friday, October 19, 2012 your credit card on file will be charged to make up the difference (to total $950).
These charges are refundable if you continue to fundraise and reach the $950 minimum by Friday, November 23, 2012 by 5pm PST. Once you have fulfilled your fundraising requirement, Lazarex will issue a refund for the amount charged to your credit card.
