Lazarex Cancer Foundation’s Team for Life is excited to present a new fundraising adventure for those of you who love to travel, hike, and enjoy the beauty of nature while meeting a personal challenge and supporting a worthy cause – helping Lazarex provide resources to cancer patients who have been told they have no other options, but who are not yet done with their journey in life and refuse to give up now.

Lazarex Cancer Foundation and Conquer The Canyon® have joined forces to bring you Hike for Life, a special 3-night/4-day walking, hiking and active adventure at one of the "Grandest" natural wonders of the world - The Grand Canyon! Get ready for a very rare experience. Less than 1% of the millions of visitors to the Grand Canyon National Park each year ever travel its trails. With Lazarex and Conquer The Canyon, you have the opportunity to join this exclusive group.

Hike for Life is a walking or hiking adventure to suit everyone.
Our Hike for Life - Conquer The Canyon® participants and teams can choose the trails that best suit their goals and abilities. From the rolling hills of the rim to the steep descents into the Canyon of up to 3,000 feet, they will hike the trails led by The Walking Connection's best expert guides who will interpret the intricacies of the geology, history, flora, fauna and environmental zones of the canyon.

Conquer The Canyon® provides a special training program to help prepare you to meet the personal challenges of one of several levels of hikes at Grand Canyon - from the easiest walks along a paved path to the most difficult trails into and out of the Grand Canyon. From the most arduous day-hike in the Canyon to more moderate hiking pursuits, there is a trail and hike for everyone.

You'll Receive expert fundraising assistance from Team for Life experts, your own fundraising webpage with your personal URL, exclusive Grand Canyon Hike Training Program, complete travel logistics, ground transportation while in Arizona, hotel accommodations, most meals including a special Mission Inspiration Dinner and a Mission Celebration Dinner, hikes guided by expert Grand Canyon guides and the fun and camaraderie of others who will join you and celebrate the mission of Lazarex Cancer Foundation!

In Return you will support Lazarex by raising funds and creating awareness for our mission. By yourself or with your family...with a few friends, a company team or your own walking or hiking club, this is your opportunity to join the Lazarex Hike for Life team and support the cancer patients and families that we serve. Your participation will help build a bridge to hope, dignity and life for cancer patients who have been told they have run out of treatment options.

Eighty seven percent of the funds you raise will be used to help patients with all types of cancer by helping to identify their clinical trial options, to provide financial assistance for costs associated with participation in FDA clinical trials and to provide community education and outreach services.
